Treatment Of Leave Type When One Staff Is In Condolence Of Another Staff

Dear All, Hi,. If one staff is on condolence of another staff for full day, should this be given waiver on humanitarian grounds or same be treated as casual leave? regards

Death and condolences will not take place regularly. Still, you can decide who all shall go for funeral, perhaps it will be one or two persons from the department and a representative from HR dept. But there can not be a rigid rule for that.

Thanks a lot Sir, basic reason behind asking was that those staff who join over funeral procession are not considered for any treatment with short leave, and those staff who are not present in organization for full day are only thought of. Since there number may be somewhere around 6-7 and mostly divisional staffou out of 10 divisional staff.
