Friends,

I have been lurking for a few days

To get a general feel of the board.

Feeling a little out of place

And very much out of date

Among the specialists here

A thumb-nail sketch is set out below.

As you can see, I'm a somewhat

Self-taught, home-grown HR amateur

It is a great pleasure

To learn from all of you

So don't mind my asking

Stupid questions occasionally

Reminds me of this one incident:
I am known among my friends to be extremely finicky about cleanliness & orderliness, always cleaning the house & always blasting them to keep the place tidy. I recently shifted to a new place, it's a nice place located at a posh colony in New Delhi. There was a poster on one of the walls that I didn't remove as it didn't seem to interfere with the overall ambience of the place & moreover I kind of liked it.
One day a couple of my friends came over & asked me to remove the poster immediately because it said, "If I'd been organized I'd be dangerous" & was completely inappropriate to describe me. The called it "heights of modesty". :)
Hey rahul, it's great to have you here & I am sure there are many members here who would love to learn a few trick of the industry from you.
Keep in touch.
