I would like to seek your valuable opinions on the below mentioned query.
We are accommodating few diploma 5th semester students for their Industrial Training curriculum for 6 months on the request of the principal of the college without paying any stipend (clearly mentioned in terms and conditions) for which they have agreed. We are providing them training in our various departments.
I want to know whether is their any obligation to pay stipend for the Industrial Trainees. If yes, please refer the clause(/s) and the act(/s) related to this topic.
