Dear All,
Please tell me whether Salary advance is a HR issue? According to me, HRs should act as a mediator between employee and management and advocate the issue. But I hv just joined in a new organization, where my senior apeaks very rudely to employees whenever any employee calls up for salary advance and says that it is a Finance / Accounts issue.

Overall it may be a Finance issuse but HR can guide you with the procedure of how to get your salary in advance therefore may staff at your new organization is hard to please although it is a common scene for any organization.
Therefore,you shall ask from HR to assist you with the same.

In my experience, the finance people are not cooperative towards fellow collegues and they are living on their own world. HR should play the coordination role to help the employees. pon
