Dear Seniors
Greetings!

I was working with one of the 11 months old recruitment consultancy.I have worked with that consultancy for 10 months. I have resigned that company 2 days back ( due to some family problem). I have send resignation letter ( without mentioning reason) through mail to my employer. However i did not go to office since past 2 days ( since from resigned ). I have received my employer message on my mobile on same day of resignation ,regarding acceptance of my resignation letter & asked me to serve notice period. However i did not revert back & not went to office 2nd day of my resignation. However i have send him massage in evening that i m ready to serve notice period of 30 days & requested him to communicate acceptance of my resignation through mail.My employer replied through massage on mobile that i need not to serve notice period as i was absconding for 2 days & my services has been terminated. In such situation am i liable to get my Relieving Letter or Experience latter. If i don't have Relieving Letter will that affect my future?
I can show my salary slips,my offer latter, confirmation latter , bank statement & resignation copy to next organisation. All these documents are sufficient to show to next organisation? Kindly guide me. Since i did not turned up for office for 2 days after my resignation my employer has declared me as absconding without sending me any show cause notice. Mere absence of 2 days after resignation would be treated as absconding case? Seniors kindly guide me for the same since i am worried about my future. Will i able to apply any government job in such condition where i don't have experience latter or relieving latter? Kindly requesting reply urgently. In this case is my e-mail can help me stating I am not absconded...
Kindly let me know how I can come out this situvation...

Please please I reqest help me...

Regards
Needful.

Your employer is right in telling you that there is no need to come back to serve the notice as you opted to discontinue without any notice and after mailing resignation you did not report for duty, as well. As such, you have created a question mark on the "Trust" level between you and the employer. Regarding your question whether you will be getting a relieving letter, it depends on your past relationship with your employer. If it was cordial, they may think of giving you relieving letter after adjusting the notice pay from your f&f settlement subject to your contacting them with an appology. Regarding your question 'If i don't have Relieving Letter will that affect my future?', I have a counter question - Was it your first job? It seems so. Showing experience without having proper documents will create problem at the time of interview. How are you going to justify it? Whatever family realted reasons you are going to produce will add no value to your claim as you were right in your decision to leave without any notice. This may be counted as negative. I would, therefore, suggest you to contact your employer, make an apology and request to settle your f&f with experience/relieving letter. And one more thing - never ever leave any organization without serving proper notice, in future, and always maintain good relationship with your past employer(s). In this case, your entire thought process was one sided only.

Mr. K.S. Gopal is very much right in his statements. You have to leave job in a professional way. You have worked in Recruiment so you might have informed your candidates about notice period and appropriate charge hand over procedure. If not, note it now and don't worry, such experiences teach us.
You can approach your employer for corrective action and walk out in a respectable way.
All the best !

Hi Dear,
I was working with one of the 60 years old manufacturing cement industries. I have worked with that industries for 2 years.
I have resigned that company 3 month ago due to some personal problem. But my resignation is not accepted on that time.
Now again I am thinking for resignation by written as well as through My personal E Mail ID.
If this time again my resignation is not accepted, can I leave my job after my notice period of 3 month from date of submission of my resignation.
Kindly help me on this matter

Hello Mr. Prashant,
You have not disclosed what was the reason they did not accept your resignation and how you had given your resignation first. Although resignation on email is acceptable, a signed hard copy is advisable so you can take acknowledgement receipt by HR dept. or your superior's comments over it. Keep a copy of it with you for proof. As far as possible, leave in a cordial way for proper settlement of your full & final.
Best wishes.

Dear Sir,

I have similar case. I have worked in an organisation for 2 years. In that organisation they are having 2 years bonds for the freshers. So you can not resign in between those tow years. I wanted to leave as soon as my bond was over for some personal reasons. So I informed my PM and HR in email that I will be leaving at the end of my bond period around one and half months back. But my PM did provided me resource for KT. at end of my bond period I resigned with only 3 days notice. At that time my PM asked me to serve 8 weeks of notice period. I was enable to do so. I left the organisation and HR marked me absconding. After around one month I contacted again my organisation and requested them to give me my relieving letter and experience letter. My PM sent my case to legal dept of the company. Legal dept of the company did my Full and final settlement and gave me relieving letter and experience certificates. I also got my PF and form 16. I thought that was over. After that I worked in another organisation for 3 years nothing came out in my background check. I did my MBA too for 2 years. After my MBA when I joined new organisation after 5 years of leaving my first company. In my background verification I was informed that my status was mentioned as absconding in my previous organisation.
My new organisation is reluctant in giving me joining. Please let me know what is possible way for to me join the new company. Will I be able to work in future with other companies?? Is it ok for my previous organisation to mentioned me absconding??

Dear ..
You have mentioned that you got relieving letter and experience letter from your first organization (thru Legal Deptt). You can show this to your new employer as a token of proof to refute the background verification feedback (subject to the condition that the relieving letter issued by Legal Deptt. does not have any indication about your leaving the organization without serving the required notice, etc.).
I always advice people to have a nice separation from the organization by complying with the exit formalities and maintain good relations. This is a good example to people who leaves without complying the notice period requirement.
You may try to convince your new employer. No other choice.

Thank you for reply sir.
I tried to convince my current company. They agreed to give me joining but they will keep your background check report red. This will be quick option as my case will be closed. Another option they told me that I will give them the DD no which I sent to my previous organisation for full and final settlement. Then they will check with their vendor to reverified it again. They will give me joining and keep my case as in progress status. There is chance that my report will come as green. I am confused in these choices is there something I need to know in this.
They also told me that in the previous company HR told that they issue service certificate to all even to absconding people but he refused them to verify my service certificate.
Please reply ASAP. Thank you.

Dear .. Go with option No.2. I think, any proof towards payment of notice pay will do, if it was not done by DD. All the best,
