Dear Member,
Welcome to CiteHR.
We have not heard of such system/provision in the PG Act to transfer the gratuity amount to another organization. If you are transfer to another organization with continuity of service then in that case you will get gratuity form that organization & you will get the benefit of this service while calculating gratuity.

Dear All
Gratuity cannot be transferred from one organization to another. But at the same time superannuation funds of an individual can be transferred from one organisation to another provided the new organisation provide superannuation benefit.
I never heard of gratuity transfer so far.
If any one can throw light on this
Regards

You are mistaken. The advertisement (I have not noticed it as I do not view Doordarshan regularly) might be on transfer of PROVIDENT FUND and not gratuity. Regards, Madhu.T.K

Dear Member,
This advertisement relates to transfer of Provident Fund & not for gratuity.
