in salary structure design?? What are mandatory components in salary bifurcation? If HRA is must to include??

First Gross Salary, BAsic Salary+D.A, HRA, Conveyence Allowanceand PF & ESI Deductions and also other dedutions such as canteen and fines etc.

Can anybody help me in calculating salary? If CTC is 8500 how to go about calculating salary Basic? HRA? Special allowance? ESI 4.75%? PF 12%? plz its very urgent

ESI is mandatory for employees having gross salary =<10000/-. What about employees having greater salary??

Dear shweta

DA is Dearness Allowance and it is on the basis of inflation. This is revised time to time as and when inflation increases.

Maximum permissible limit of deduction under Income Tax Act, 1961 for Medical allowance is 15000/-

If anyone can tell......... What is SBP???
I don`t know.

ESI is mandatory for employees having gross salary =<15000/-.

CCA is City Compensatory Allowance. SBP or SPP?? - Spl. Performance Pay. HRA is not must but beneficial to employees for tax exemption. pon

Does statutory says Gross Salary's 100% cannot be considered as Basic Pay?
My question is whether statutory says mandatorily only certain percentage of Gross can be Basic Pay?
If it says so - the exactly where it says.
