How do we measure manpower utilisation?
We are a project industry & we want to calculate if the manpower available is sufficient or excess & accordingly plan our recruitment.
But how do we come to know if the available manpower is utilised 100%.

In an ideal situation you can have the utilization around 68-72 % which is industry standard. what all you can include in utilization could be following: (Keeping in mind the IT industry)
- Overall time spent on Project daily basis
- Lab replications
- Trainings
- Collabrative task for employees - Under same assignment you can have multiple people getting utilized
