Hi rinki,
Firstly you should know the technical aspects, you browse the information first and yourself prepare a questionnaire for the interview. And aslo mainly you should check with your company first in which platforms you r workin for den you can conduct the interviews.

Hi RInki
As someone mentioned before, look through your company profile and the type of platforms they work on.
Try speaking with your technical leads or your technical panel and understand the requirement that they have and based on those prepare your questions.
you can also ask them for their help in letting you know what sort of questions you can ask the potential or probable candidate.
But try not asking more than 10 short questions related to their profile. The first level of interview at your end should not last you ideally for more than 5 - 7 mins
Regards
A

Dear Rinky,
If you are fresh in recruitment for IT candidates , just read the resume and start to ask the achievement and judge the answering is with confidence i.e. He/She having good knowedge. You will get enough knowedge after some interviews this is purely you have to use intelligence at this stage.
Thanks.
