Hi Ram,
Some methods that work are:
1. Critcal incident interviews: too time consuming
2. Focus groups as part of off site training: very effective, quick and validated by peers.managers
3. Online qusetionnaires by self and manager: valid if it is based on the competency framework and lined to short term results. Quick and easy.
We sell in India 360 feedback ASP software. As it is customizable you can feed your competencies and capture the data in graphical format.
You can open an account with us and we can help you try it out as a sample.
For self and manager the cost of processing is Rs 500 only. You can get sizable discount if you buy bulk credits.
