i have recently joined as HR Exe. in an pharma company but the environment here is veryy dull...
please suggest me some activities or events which i can organize to make d place interesting nd worth working??

First you talk to your higher mgt. If they have positive attitude,
You can arrange e.g. Corporate night (Annual/Bi-annual), Family day, departmental/whole office tour, Enjoy Movie, Birthday wish, Lunch or dinner, IQ test, Employee of the Month, Reward program etc.

I think, it is too early to label the environment of your organization as 'dull' as it is the general tendency of people to compare the environment of last organization to the present one and may feel a mis-match for few days. However, pl try as suggested byTS.

Why don't you go for some meditative process of increasing the energy level of the environment. You can have an very interactive holistic session to understand the temperaments of your staff and co-workers.
It will be interesting if we can have a meeting and customize a program to enhance the atmosphere and make it full of vibrant energy.

First start with simple Birth day wishes generate it through mail and the records will be available in your data bank of employees.
Second organise some sort of CSR activities in your localities which will enhance your company's image.
Organise the Annual Day functions of your company elaborately with all the staff and their family members. Even you can organise a party for Financial Year Close.
You may find some change in attitude of the employees after these type of events.
