Appointment Letter
Dear Mr. Srinivas,
We are please to appoint you as “Sr.Executive HR” w.e.f. 26th February, 2011 on the following terms and conditions:
1. You will currently be based at Mumbai. The job is, however, transferable and you may be transferred to any other location of the organization, at a sole discretion of the management.
2. This employment will be remunerated @ Rs1, 80,000 (One lac eighty thousand rupees) CTC per annum, all inclusive, including Annual benefits of Ex-gratia, LTA & Co’s contribution to provident fund which will be payable as per the rules of the company in force and as amended from time to time. The CTC break-up is attached.
3. Your duties and responsibilities would be designed by the company.
4. Your direct line of reporting will be the manager or In-charge of your location.
5. You will be on probation period of 6 (six) months which may be extended at the discretion of the management for such period or periods as may be deemed necessary. Your services shall not be deemed to be confirmed unless the same as been communicated to you by the management, in writing.
6. You shall be responsible for safe custody of documents, materials, property and equipment of the company entrusted to you or which may be in use, custody or charge.
7. As per your Orientation, (within a week of joining), you should read the Employee Handbook and IT Policy of the company and adhere to their provisions at all times.
8. E-mail messages: GLS encourage the use of e-mail for business purpose. The messages generated or received via the e-mail including the back-up copies are company’s property. Though the company does recommend the use of e-mail for personal use, it may be used provided it does not use more than a trivial amount of resources. The company has the right to retrieve and review any message composed or received through the company’s e-mail systems.
9. The continuity of your employment at any given relevant point of time shall depend upon continuous attendance, satisfactory job performance and good conduct etc.
10. If at any time, in the opinion of the company, which shall be final, you are finding guilty of dishonest, disobedience, misappropriation, theft, guilty of fraud, disorderly behavior, negligence, indiscipline, absence from duty without permission or any other conduct considered by the management of the company as detrimental to its intrest or of violation of one or more terms of this employment, your services may be terminated without notice and without pay in lieu of notice.
11. Your service can be terminated with one month notice in writing on either side, or on payment of salary in lieu of such notice, not withstanding Para 9 above.
12. If required, you will submit a medical fitness certificate or get yourself examined by a medical practitioner nominated y the company.
13. You will submit, at the time of reporting the duty, a release letter from your last employer confirming that you have been released from their employment.
14. You will be entitled to privilege leave and medical benefits as per company rules and regulations from the date of confirmation of your services.
15. You shall keep the company informed of any changes in your residential address.
16. The policies, rules and regulations of the company in force at the time of your appointment will govern your services or that may be framed and amended from time to time by the company.
We request you to return the duplicate copy of this letter duly signed, as a token of your acceptance of the above terms and conditions of employment.
