Please help me to explore the Inter-state Migrant Workmen Act 1979. We have just completed the large value construction project in Delhi, how the act effects us.

Is it related for the labours deployed by our sub-contractors, from different states like Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and other parts of the country for the exection of the civil project in Delhi.
What details needs to be maintened for these types of workmens under the said Act, may I request all the experts to put some light of knowledge.

Dear Friends
I am attaching the Interstate Migrant Workmen Act, 1979 and Interstate Migrant Workmen Rules, 1980 (Both Central) for your ready reference. As per this act you have to obtain License and you have to maintain their Workmen Register, Wages Register and Muster Role and OT Register.
The Main thing we must adopt is that we have to pay to the workmen engaged from other state must be paid as per their state's wages rate, if the wage rate is more in their state. If the Wage rate in their state is less, then you must pay as per the state where the work is going on.
