Can any one pls give me the format of a letter where the employer is giving notice period to the employee for relieving them.
I do not want a termination letter, but just a letter where the employer is giving 30 notice period to the employee as the employee does during resignation.

Is it possible to try the following approach and paper-work :
  • Counsel the employee first, explaining the circumstances and your stance in minimizing the impact of out-placement stigma and company's viewpoint in future references.
  • Subsequen to this session, you can give the notice in the following manner ...
"Dear -----
This is with reference to the discussion held with you on ........
As mutually agreed upon, the company hereby grants you a notice period of one month, ending on ............
We appreciate your contributions rendered and wish you all the very best in your future endeavour.
...
I shall await your feedback on this.
