Hello Professionals :)
I want help about writing a regret/rejection letter to Interviewer.
I attended an interview last week and was selected for unattractive package. I really like the company (bank) and there is growth, but after I let them know my expected salary, they still made offer letter with lesser salary, same as what I earn now.
I want to write them thank you / regret letter and let them know that I decline.
Please help me if there is a standard format or simple letter to inform them I decline.
Thanks

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had attended interview for the post of _____ on ______ (date). I have been offered employment for this post vide your letter No ____ dated _____.

Attending interview for this post was a great experience. Quality of questions were good and it was a healthy intellectual exchange. I thank you for giving me offer to join your esteemed company.

Considering the market situation vis-a-vis my career aspirations, I have decided to continue my employment with my present employers. Therefore, I request you to go ahead and select a better candidate for this post.

I regret my inability to join _____ (name of company), nevertheless I wish the company to grow by leap and bounds in future.

Warm regards,
