Dear Seniors please clarify, when I have met with pf commissioner regarding pf contribution query he has given instruction Basic+DA or 60% of Fixed Salary whichever is higher.
as per the pf commissioner instructions Basic+DA Should be 60% of Fixed Gross Salary this is correct.
Any act says to pf contributions 60% of fixed salary, if have GO please attach the site

Hi,
Basic Salary should satisfy Minimum Wages act
If You are paying consolidated salary i.e without any other allowances then the EPF payable should 70% of the Total salary or wage paid to the employee. and this total consolidated salary should satisfy Minimum wages act.
IF Basic + DA is satisfying Minimum wages act and you are paying other allowances like HRA, Conveyance etc You can pay EPF @ 12% on BAsic + DA
