Instead of appointing Competency Mapping Consultants my suggestion to you is to undergo a Training program in developing & mapping competency.This will help you to make your fundamentals clear & you can develop your own system inside the company. The consultant who will come from outside will take all the inputs from you, will speak big words,phrases,etc & in return will show you the data in competency form.He may take 2-3 months time & will charge you a fortune.Instead at a fraction of cost you can get yourself trained & implement the competency mapping program as a project itself.By this you will have a meaningful achievement. This is my suggestion to you.If you wish to get yourself trained you can try at TVRao.They conduct regular sessions on competency mapping training.
