Dear Mr X:
I would like to bring it to your concern that CRS department was given sales target for 2011 which was ............ and achievable by the employees under your supervision. With regret I want to inform you that during target review meeting with the board and with senior management, it has been proved that you have failed to achieve the target set by the board. It was also evident that you have not taken appropriate initiatives to distribute targets including motivate sales employees with required leadership which led to this unfortunate situation. Due to such situation, CRS department along with senior management could not agree with the board to ensure disbursement of incentives against the set sales target.
As AGM, this is not expected out of an employee like you. You are hereby warned and also instructed by me to enhance your skills and experiences to lead the team with an extra initiative with immediate effect and bring changes to present standard to achieve given target in future without fail. I want you to know that I will stand beside you and aid you in any way I can.
Please be informed that this warning will also be recorded in your personal file for future reference.
