i am having a jewellery showroom at ahmedabad..there was no hr dept till date. now i want to make an hr dept which will handle all the activities. i have 30 people working in the organization.
kindly suggest me ideas how to start and what functions shud be included.ASAP

Following points will help you.
1) you need to have statutory compliances that will cover
a)shop & establishment act
b)PF,ESI compliances
c)Leave Management
other compliances as applicable.
2) Company policy formation.
These need to be basic implementation.
If you have multiple location and want to expand in near future you should go for a dedicated HR.
Or you can hire a Part time HR consultant..
