Dear JK,
First you should directly ask your HR deptt. to provide your PF Number, however, employer neglect your request,
just approach Regional PF Office and consult EDP section. (You have to be smart and humble while requesting EDP section, just tell your company and your name, the person will verify your records through computer and will let you know the exact status as on date)

Hi,
Any company having a total staff count of 20persons will be included. The employee contribution is 12% of his/her basic salary. The employer contributes an equal amount into each employee account.Every year the employer gets an consolidated statement from the PF office detailing the total contribution made by the employer and the employee. The employer in turn will have to give a statement indicating the contributions made each month and the total amount contributed.
As you are still with the same company,i suggest that you speak to your HR dept and try to get the details.Get the establishment code(company code) and also your PF account number. With this information you can log into the epf website to check on the contributions made by the company. In certain cities, its also possible to get the balance available in the account. This can be done by logging into the website and entering the account details. If it is confirmed that the company has been regularly contributing, then there is nothing to worry. The money deposited with the PF office is very safe & cannot be withdrawn or cancelled, even by the employer.Only the conerned employee will have the right to access this account.
If you still have doubt, then it is better to contact the PF office branch where the company has its account and meet the PF commisioner or the concerned officer & get your doubt clarified.
