My company is providing Laptop & blackberry phones to all RM level and above employees.
Do companies retain some security amount for people during probation period or even beyond it? For case where employees leave the job and dont return these!

Not a common practice to retain security amount but HR needs to include these two items into New Staff Orientation Checklist and Exit Clearance Checklist. Both forms need to be countersign by both HR & employee.

If any employee did not return back the items,you can deduct the amount from his F&F settlement

i have an personal laptop using in office,i want from company to pay the cost of laptop or refunding cost ,write a simple letter regarding above said matter
