Please help me understand how to project Salary Hike, is there any specific formula to it?
Or is it just a simple calculation of looking at the fixed ctc, benefits and bonus amount, take an average of hike% in last n number of years and then based on the avarage hike%, do the projection.
Also, what could be the factors that can influence salary hike apart from performance rating, company performance and market conditions.
How do companies calculate what hike% one should be given at the time of makig an offer?
