For 8000/- CTC, you can go for following breakup -
Basic : - Rs. 4000/-
HRA :- Rs. 1997/- (45 to 50 % of basic)
Conveyance :- Rs. 800/-
Uniform or any other allowance :- Rs. 400/-
Gross Salary : -Rs. 7197/-
CTC = Gross + Employer ESI + Employer PF
= 7197 + 323 + 480 = Rs. 8000/-
Hope it might help you.

Dear friends,
Gratuity, employer's share of PF &ESI are not required to be shown in monthly salary slips. One is to complete 5 yrs of service under one employer to be eligible for gratuity.Employee’s share of PF& ESI contribution are only shown in salary slip under deduction col. With regard to % of gratuity component,it is arrived at as follows:-
a)For one completed year of service one is entitled for 15 days’ salary/wage(basic+DA) towards gratuity that means monthly salary divided by 26 days multiplied by 15 days.
b)If one’s monthly salary is Rs.100/-, he is eligible for gratuity(only if he has rendered 5 years’ service) @ Rs.100/- / 26 X 15 for each year of service.
c)Thus the % age of one year’s gratuity to annual salary is Rs.100/- X 15 divided by 26 X 12( months in a year) =4.81
Yours sincerely
