Hi Smruti,
One needs to carefully design an appraisal system keeping in mind the organization setup, people, presence/ absence of KRAs/ definition of Job Roles, competency mapping etc etc. What you may initially do is view demos which are available online, make up a broad baseline, and then speak to a service/ product supplier who may add his experience.
Hope that helps. Take care.

Hi there,
Since your organsiation is project based the best way is performance appraisal by objectives.
You set objectives for individuals to achieve (KPI) based on the milestone outlined in the project charter and set a number of competences using their job description then you measure their performance based on it.
If you need further help send me job descriptions I can do the competences for you,

You can follow 360 Degree Feedback appraisal system, Which will be effective in appraising your employees. For more information kindly visit the site CEO InfoTech from Google search.

Dear friend,
Well I would suggest you to just try the software on a trial basis which is based on PMS system. It will help in appraising as well as measuring the performance. To get the further details about the software you an contact me.
