My company is telling me that he will not issue the relieving letter because I have not served the notice period of 3 months after resignation.
Is it mandatory to serve the notice period?
I have some problem with manager and thats why I resigned and so I have also not served the notice period.
Now I wanted to know that how to get the relieving letter because company is insisting on notice period.

Hi,
You may have signed the terms & conditions of your company with their notice period details and hence you are expected to abide by that. Any irregularity in that would have cost you getting normal relieving letter. But you shall be getting experience certificate from your ex employer and you may take legal actionf, if it is denied
Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Do you mean that if I have not served notice period then they will not issue the relieving letter but they are bound to issue me the experience certifice? Thanks sudhakar

Don,t worry about the relieving letter if your current employer is ready to take with out it.
If you really want that just pay the notice pay and get the relieving letter.(only basic pay of balance days WILL HAVE TO PAY.
If its not required leave it and enjoy your new work
