Dear Friends,
I worked of one organization from 10.04.2009 to 02.09.2009
As per CTC they deducted EPF rs 903/- for month.
By end of the August month accumulated total was : Rs.4213. I was resigned the job on 02.09.2009 and applied for PF withdrawal. At the time of pf withdrawal submission HR Executive told me you will get Rs. 4213 + Rs.4213( from employer).
Recently PF office people deposited only rs. 4800/- in my account.
As per my knowledge PF office did not paid the employer PF.
Please suggest to get the remaining balance amount.
Regards

Dear P Bapu ji
The PF is deducted @ 12% of Basic salary. I agreet with you that employee and employer contribution was same. With effect from 16th Nov 07 some norms has been chaged. if the company has been registered in RPFC then some amount from employer will go to EPF So the employer contribution is divided . The 8.33% is transfer to EPS(Employee Pension scheme) and the balance 3.67% is the employee contribution of PF.
For Example:
Case 1: If the basic salary is Rs 5000/-
Employee contribution : Rs 600/- (12%)
Employer contribution : Rs 183.50/-(3.67%)
Transfer to EPS : Rs 416.50/-(8.33%)
AND to withdraw the amount with EPS i.e a pension scheme you need to fill a form.Sending you the attachment for the same i,e a pension withdrawal form.
I think they have given you both the amounts of employer as well as employee but they have dedcted the legible amount from the employer's part.

EPF Member should put more than 6 months of service otherwise could not claim the EPS amount which is 3.67%. That's why you didn't receive the HR said amount. Also you can clarify the details of your Account from the nearest EPFO, Sub-Regional Office.
