If you with Medical establishment please check for your organization as many states has followed the same as its was suggested by Panchdeep Bhawan Delhi to all states to implement in their respective states

Vivek, for you correction "ESI Act has become applicable on Medical and Educational Establishments from 27.08.2006 onwards" in PUNJAB...need to check for other states..

I'm working in Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh).
Can any one confirm regarding the ESI applicability by salary.
I came to know that a new amendment is made in ESI. It was applicable upto the salary of Rs. 10,000/- PM and now it is increased to those with salary upto 13,000/ or 15,000/ PM. effective from April 2010.
Please clarify me if any one is aware of this.
