Helo friends,
i am working in convergys(bpo), we were asked to do overtime last month without any conditions of the overtime, like how it will be paid and what are the criterias. Now in april i was shocked when a manager told us that if you have not given the 80% of the production on the particular day of overtime you wil not get it. You wont beleive hundreds of hours are just not paid. If they would have told us before we started doing overtime we would not have done it Because we know working continuosly for 13 or 14 hours and giving 100% of production is not possible Please sugest what al options are available for us as per law

Straight way approach the area Labour/shop Inspector with a c c to area DLC through a written complaint with the request to intervene for the claim of your OT.
