I was worked in TCS and Tata-Aig Life Insurance for two years back. Currently I am working other company. I want to get my PF amount. I cannot meet my employers since it is in other state,
Is the employer seal and signature is mandatory for getting PF
so pls guide me to get the PF amount.

You can send PF withdrawal forms, form 19 and form 10 C directly to the EPF office where your old accounts were maintained after getting your signatures in the forms attested by your Bank Manager. You will have to send two separate forms for withdrawing from two different units. Otherwise, you can send form 13 through your present employer by which your old account balances will be transferred to the new PF account. For this also you have to send two seprate forms.

Subject - How to fill certain columns in Form 19 and 10C

Hi Sir,

I worked for a company from 2007 and relieved on March 2009 in Bangalore and pursuing higher studies now in another state. I want to withdraw the PF money now but my ex-employer is not helping or no reply. I downloaded forms 19 & 10C and decided to get attested from the Bank Manager. I want to clarify my doubts in filling certain columns in form 19 and 10C.

1. Form 19

Contribution for the current financial Year:

Problem: What should I enter in the table because I resigned 2 years before on March 2009.

2.Form 19 & 10C

Name & Address of the Establishment in which, the member last employed:

Problem: My ex-company shifted to a new address after I resigned. But I worked in the old address only. So which address should I use it in the specified column as I am confused about that.

3. Form 10C

Are you willing to accept Scheme Certificate in lieu of withdrawal benefits:

Problem: What should I say? Yes or no?

Please help me!!

Dear Shakti,

In form 19 you need not enter the contribution particulars. The particulars will be available in the form 3A submitted by your ex-company in March 2009. Or if the actual reliving was in the month of March 2009 (which means currency month of April 2009 which pertains to 2009- 10 year) then that month's contribution will be available in the annual returns of 2009-10. If not, the PF Office will call for the same from the employer.

You can write the old address because the PF code might remain the same.

In form 10C, the question whether you would like to accept scheme certificate is to be answered with reference to your choice as to whether you would like to have withdrawal benefit of the Pension Fund or would you like to keep it as it is and get a scheme certificate from the Employees Provident Fund Organisation which will certify your service which in turn will be added to your service with any new company. By accepting the scheme certificate your past service will be retained and when you join another establishment wherein EPF is applicable, you can surrender the certificate and by doing so the past service will be added to your forthcoming service. Pension amount will be decided taking into account the total service. If you wish to get your past service added to your new service you have to opt for scheme certificate. If so, you have to enclose the birth certificate of your children also along with the forms. On the otherhand, if you do not wish to get any certificate but would like to take back the pension fund amount also, you can tick "NO".

Please attach a cancelled cheque leaf for effecting NEFT by the EPFO.

Dear Madhu,
Please let me know if EPFO pays interest on pension fund as well. eg. if a person opts for withdrawal of PF as well as pension fund, will he be getting pension fund amount accumulation+interest accrued or only principal amount of Pension fund accumulation. In case interest is also paid what is the rate of interest payment?

Thank you so much for the reply. Can you just kindly clarify the signature of "Bank Manager":
1. which bank manager - is it my personal account bank manager or the bank in which my salary was credited?
2. where and on which form does the bank manager sign?
3. how do i confirm that the pf office has received my form and it is going to be processed?

1.I left my previous employer in july-2008 , i want transfer my PF (through 13 no form) is only sufficient.?
2.My present employer is having PF trust , it has ne impact?
3.Is there any amendmend in PF act @ non moving PF a/c ?

Thank you very much for detailed reply. May god bless you with everything in your life for your help. I have few more queries before confirming the PF forms 19 and 10C. Could you please help me about that.
1. In which part of the Form 19(2 pages) & Form 10C(4 pages) should I get the attestation as some Bank Managers are doubtful. Or should I get attestation in all the pages of Form 19(2 pages) & Form 10C(4 pages).
2. Can I send the application through registered post(with acknowledgement) or should I directly submit in the Bangalore PF office as I am in other state.

You can directly approach the concerned PF Office and submit the application form 10C & 19. In the office itself they will guide you about the shortfall in your application form.
If you left the previous office before 1 year means you must submit the same alongwith an affidavit duly attested by Notory Public.
