Piyali,
Hi...Welcome to the fantastic world of HR. Honestly, right now you should ONLY think of learning and more learning...try our hands at each and every details pertaining to management and HR. And u will always get guidance from the seniors here. The position will automatically come with exposure, time and learning. Hope I wasn't too philosophical.
All the best to you.

Hi everybody,
I dont want to sound too rude. This girl is not even clear in communicating what she has in her mind and what she wants ! This is the level of the younger generation these days. They manage to pass out of Colleges and B-Schools with professional qualifications. When they come out to the outside world, they find themselves abysmally lacking in English Communication - both written and spoken versions. Since the modern generation is spending more time in sms texting, the normal victorian English has been given a holy burial, so it seems ! Compared to countries like China, we Indians are better off due to the legacy left behind by British colonisation of over a century. But there is clear-cut erosion of English language as a skill, as an important medium of communication.

Keeping this in mind, I am now in the process of developing a good module on English Communication and communication skills for all those youngsters who want to master the art. However, through this posting I am sounding out all training institutions to consider taking my services so that together we can achieve something for the next generation and it is not going to be free distribution. The reason is that it is not so easy to through some ppt material and become a Black-belt expert !

Best wishes

I think what NK SUNDARAM means is that the person posting this question is rather lacking in education. I cant believe someone with such poor communication skills has been awarded an MBA....

Dear All,
I thoroughly agree with Mr NK Sundaram, as its a brutal fact that, inspite of being professionally qualified, most of the people lack in English communication, verbal as well as written.
Here I would like to contribute certain suggestions for these 'Capable but Unmotivated' people:
1- English is just another language and one need to conquer the most important thing to learn english i.e 'Hesitation'.
2- Like many other things it needs a 'Practice'.
3- Last but not the least important thing is - 'Environment'.
All these suggestions are simply based on my own experiences and practices which I still follow and hope it might be fruitful for the 'Desired & Deserving' candidates for their bright futures to come.
Thanks a Lot and All The Best .
