1. Why u have choosen career in hr ? 2. Tell me about yourself? ( person having 1.5yrs experience)

Every Question shot at you will have a logic. Find out the motive. By practice, it becomes easy. Just ask 'why is he asking this question?'. If you find out the answer, then you can frame your own answer for the question shot. For example, the second question, 'Tell me something about you.' The interviewer has some information about you in the form of CV. So now he is asking 'if you have something key info, which is not present in the CV and which would be useful for active consideration for giving you job. In this case you can frame your answer begining, 'I am ... from ... Basically, I am (a word about your attitude). I am talkitive and people friendly. During my career at (the company where you worked since the last one one and hal year) I was given that job to handle (the following responsibilities). Then, you highlight your achievements. Leave a tone that you left the company, or may leave the company with a very friendly relation.

Then, why do you choose a HR career. Here, he is asking to find out what extraordinary hr traits you have. You may reply, that was your passion. You are passionate to observe people's behaviour and accept the challenges of handling them in a positive and friendly way to encourage their personal and collective contributions to the organisation.

All this can happen if you are very balanced. you exhibit confidence, give a thought for few seconds to the question shot at you. Then, you will be able to offer a satisfactory reply. good luck.

These are questions that seek to know YOUR opinion. You must have had a reason to chose HR at one point in your life. For which you spent 1.5 years working in the same field. By now you should know why you took HR as your career.
The question: To tell about yourself.
You may give a brief into on your family and education, and where you are basically located. And then move to your career, and what you did in your previous job, and then focus on what you are looking in for a change. FOr example, if in your 1.5 yrs of experience if you have been only recruiting, you may want to have additional responsibilities and the job in question may have that in store for you.

Well i guess everyone whosoever works has their own goals reasons to chose that profession....when you started working as HR that time only this process should have been carried out by you or even i will say much before that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For only i can say you should sit and find out why you are doing this job, is it interesting for you, are you happy about it but THE MOST IMPORTANT ASK "WHY"....
And about your introduction is has to be brief, your education, areas of expertise, family background in short. Always mention those points which will help interviewer understand how you can be fit for the job...your skills, interest should be linked with your job...
