From 1st of April 2006 the minimum bonus must be paid to employees is Rs.3500.00, the eligibility for bonus is increased to 10000.00 drawing employees. For the purpose of calculation of bonus payable to such employees who are drawing more than 3500.00 to 10000.00 per month, such employees under section 10 or 11 of Bonus Act, Bonus shall be calculated as if there salary / wage were Rs.3500.00 per Month.
