paintings (with the company logo or name on the frame)

Dear Manish, Thressa and Anu
Thanks a ton for your suggestions. I really have a rough idea and variety.
Santosh, the budget is Rs. 10,000 and is the same for all levels. We actually wanted something with our company logo engraved on it and which could be long lasting. Pls let me know if you also have some great ideas.
Thanks again, all of you.

Tania,
I would suggest a gift item around Rs. 5000/- & the remaining amount be used in starting an insurance policy like if the employee stays with your company for another three years from the date of commencement of the policy, he will get such & such amount.
The benefits would be, it will be a wedding gift for him also & the employee can also be retained for a longer period. If we start this practice, even the employee will feel motivated that the company really thinks for him & his family.
But regarding the such insurance policies, you can contact insurance companies like Bajaj Allianz. Nowadays, employers are getting help from these insurance companies to retain their manpower.
Waiting for your feedback.

If budget is Rs. 10,000 then can give him a beautiful bed/arrange for a trip after marriage / give them a Eureka Forbes' Aquaguard (A Water purifier) as gift.
But employees have to submit their Wedding card to HR.

Hi Tania,
Since the amount is Rs. 10000, Instead of going for showpieces which is going to decorate only the show case you can get them some useful Electrical Appliances like Fridge, Microwave Oven,etc.. or else Golden Rings or Watches.....

Hello all,
At this amount you can easily arrange a tour. Physical goods are generally less important to all of us. In todays culture, employee desires some memorable moments whether with their co-workers or family. The impact of company sponsored tour will make long last impact. And by offering different places you can motivate others also.
