Hi
Just quick thoughts...
1. Why you want to shift to IT
2. What are your long terms objectives
3. Whats your area of interest
4. How do you think your experience in logistics co. helps this organization
You need to be absolutely clear on what you want and what you want to do henceforth....
Also, do some home work on:
the organization you are applying for
the position you are applying for
relate your experience to the job responsibilities mentioned in the position that you are applying for
Hope this could be of some help to you like a tip of the iceberg
Goodluck

Hii Shyam,
Thanx for the info. Well i think the procedures followed in an IT industry are much more professional unlike any other industry. My experience in logistics industry might not help much. But as it is said that HR as a field doesnt need to be industry specific. My entire exp in HR field will help me in future too.
What are your views on dat?

Shivani :)

Hi Shivani
I agree with you but in my experience i have seen people from IT cos who actually ask these questions....infact spend most of their time grilling on these......
Need anything in specific, do let me know....if i can i will provide some inputs
Send me your profile. If any of my clients have requirement i can refer you

Hi! Check whether he knows any technical abilities or not, if no, he is of no use to the company. Regards, Jennifer Isaac

whether he knows how to do programming / testing / any bug solving. depending on the profile he is getting.
Technical abilities is generally taken by the team lead or project lead.
