Sorry, anonymous, your answer is childish. If you have the knowledge you must share with others. Nobody, even you, can claim to be perfect. This forum is meant to share knowledge with each other to supplement knowledge of others.

The question of the member was quite valid, as that was just to brush up her knowledge that fits even in to your own advice to brush up knowledge.
As regards answer to the question, HR should not discriminate any one. We must honour the abilities of our own office boys/girls by giving them offer letters to reaffirm their loyalty towards the organization.

Its not about brushing or painting one's knowledge! Its about having experience in those areas and then suggesting.
I am sure you dont have the answer "yes / No". You yourself dont know!
I did not want to be harsh with you at all. But seriously, too much of something (that rarely makes sense ) from your end, cannot be tolerated after a certain point of time.

Thank you others for responsing... Thanks for the question ajithaa.
We have never had this practise before except for collecting the basic information and making the person sign a resigster for payment of salary.
However, I think I will start issuing offer letter - in local language as well as English... after all, its a matter of creatign a "Sense of Belongingness"

If you know the answer please advise. Well - what is your MNC practise (in some post you said you are an HR Manager in anMNC right? ) So share it with us!

Hi Ajithaa,
There are different practices followed in various organizations. While some issue Offer Letters, some HR have records of their NDA that is taken from the contractor agency. In many cases, it's required to have a copy of their Offer Letters alongwith the personal records, identification proof and NDA.
But yes, if office boys/girls are on direct payroll, their Offer Letters can be issued.
N whatever be the case, sense of belongingness can be strenghtened the way we treat with the people and care them.

This is why I said - first you should have experience... without that what ever you say makes no sense. Now "it’s obvious" that you have not answered the question.
