it could be some unethical person.. getting te location of "handset" if u have locked it .. he can unlock it if he gets the IMEI num..

I lost my mobile Nokia 6110 Nvigator with IMEI number 354847014969451 and sent an email to .
I will get you all posted if at all it helps me to trace my set back.
My nokia customer service informed me that such facility is not available (not introduced) in India and asked me to contact my mobile service provider. My vodafone service only boloked my number but it did not trace it.
I have filed an FIR with my nearest police station , Bund Gardeb Pune.
It seems tracing a hand set using IMEI number did not help me.
Any comments from forum members ?
