Appointment Letter is of great significance in industry. It is the first document that contains the terms & conditions of employment between the candidate and the company. Therefore the letter must be created with care and caution and it is not easy to change the terms & conditions of employment UNILATERALLY.
Further different organizations have different criticalities and vulnerabilities to protect themselves from and have different needs to bind the employee in different ways.
Without going into the finer aspects, I am attaching a "standard" Appointment Letter that I know will help you in majority of the cases.
