Hi Aishwarya,we have also celebrated ID in our office on a grand scale. Now the biggest upcoming festival is Diwali. Hence, we are planning to celebrate Diwali on a big scale - like diwali mela stalls, spl food, quiz comp, surprise gifts, best dressed team, etc etc...and for Dussehra, we are planning to have a special lunch sponsored by the company - which would have chaat counter, sweet/thandai couter, and the main course....u give me your views about the same...

Hey Aishwarya,
At this time of recession, every company is following the cost cutting practice....even i have been given a budget witin which i have to plan few employee engagement activities. For Diwali, i am making a plan which would include the costing details as well. Let me complete the plan, get inputs from my team, then i will share the same with you. In the meantime, if you finalize anything, do let me know..
Cheers.

Hi,
For any celebration as we (HR) need to consider Budget too, we can have more employee Engagement activities and less cost on gifting.
I am sharing my plan for this Dusshara, Kindly share your thoughts/suggestions.
1-Activity will start before 9days i.e. from the first day of Navratri.
2-Need to divide team into 4 to 5 groups (based on your company strength)
3- All teams will be having one – Lead
4- HR needs to share what they have planned for that day. ( it can be Red day/Funky day/traditional day)
5-All lead needs to insure that their team is following.
6- Based on this, every day end, all lead needs to give point to any one team except own team, separately
7-At the end all team will gain some points, Top 3 will play in new 3 games, which will be organized by HR on Dusshara Day.
There will be surprised gift( it can be small gifts) for Winner team.
ON dusshara Day:
1. Small Pooja
2. Lunch
3. Games
4. Gift distribution

Tanu
