Dear Payal,
Plz go through chapter VIII of the The Factories Act,1948 regarding Annual leave with wages for grant of EL. In my opinion probationers & the confirmed employees are entitled to EL at the same rate. Probationer period is also to be considered for grant of EL.

Dear Mr. Khola,
Related to above query I have also once query in Factories Act Chapter 8 Leave Rules are mentioned only for Annual Leave 1 for 20 days work but nothing mentioned for Casual/ Sick Leave.
My question is what type of Leave to be given as per Central Factory Act EL/SL/CL and how much minimum is necessary to give.
Regards,
Usha
