dont say sorry its understood,, just explain the reason for ur absence,, explain why you were not able to attend the class and in future what help you need from the manager

Now...Now meramobile..... It depends a lot on the ACTUAL reason why your attendance is low. Does your boss know it? There could be some reasons that just wouldn't be acceptable...like for e.g., if you were line-maroing his daughter and he knows it:-) Just joking ...ok? Like the others have said-just go to him straight and tell him the reason and then ensure YOU DON'T REPEAT IT AGAIN. Else you won't get another chance to explain...get what I mean? Rgds, TS
