Does anyone have ideas for efficiently supplying tea to staff during working hours? We currently leave tea, milk and sugar in the lunchroom but suspect the facility is being abused. Thanks

Pls use Tea/coffee machine & it will surely minimize the cost.
- use milk powder instead of milk.
- use sugar pouch instead of sugar.
and it is cheaper & easy to serve.pls hire a office boy. He will make sure that optimum usage of tea, coffee material and minimum wastage.

I go-with Mr. Vipin's views and this is the practice in my office too.
A small correction, insted of hiring a office boy you can hire a coffee/tea/milk boy to do the same based on timings...he can come at that time and serve it and leave the office, and at times in evening too.

Prince

If ur office is planning to reduce on cosumption - pls go for the office / tea boy. Just the number of ppl who are to be served must be mentioned. The time can also be mentioned - Morning 10:30 AM and post lunch at 3:30 PM.
If ppl can have it when required..
Go in for tea bags.
And as vipin mentioned Milk powder (u get pouches/sachets for this)
And sugar sachet.
Thanks

I guess there are some vending machines which have this facility of operation through coupons. You may issue two coupons to your employees who may use the same when they want in a day.

Yes Ravi...
U have no clue - HR ppl are questioned if the tea is disappearing and even if water supply is nt there in the rest room.
And all these assignments will be forwarded only by ppl who v report to... they say - we execute!

hi,
- have a separate pantry
- fix the timings
- u can serve the tea to individuals at their cabin/seat, if someone missed the same, dont offer again. if u do so then u hv to serve to ppl whole day.
- men can make good tea / coffee according to the individuals requirement
- vending m/c can only give u same taste
Rgds
