Dear All ,
i was inducted in this software devolapment company as an administrator and hr , they are primarilly into website designing and software devolapment

From my experience in this company for the last one month i understand that they are primarilly a profit driven company , ( may be because they are at a nacent stage of growth ). Previously they had no hr's as such.

The owner of this company happens to be a ex-ibm project leader , so its is understandable that his knowledge about hr is not very high,
Today he asked me to formulate and present my plans and actions for the month of february.
i really dont know what can i write to him justifying my position , as far as my knowledge of hr goes , our roles and responsibilities are generally fixed , like
1.Joining Formalities

2. Handling Employee Database (Both in Soft Form and Files Management)

3. Leaves and Attendance Management

4. Handling the payroll

5. Managing advance Salary, Ad Hoc Bonuses, Loans

6. Confirmations, Performance Appraisals, Performance Management

7. Exit-Interviews

8. Full and Final Settlement

9. Policy formulation and implementation

10..Employee Grievance handling.

since its new organisation we dont really have much of training needs , and duties like motiovation and team building , etc , etc is a "wastage of time concept " for my manager
