I am working in a TPA (Third party Administrator Cpmpany). Basically it is in to service industry. My Company with draw a holiday and arjusted it against the another day. We gave a internal circular in our corporate Office that we are declaring x day as holiday in the lieu of y holiday. is it right ! Because in the starting of the year we are declare that y day as holiday. but due to certain circumstances we give a holiday on x day. Is it the right practice!

Dear manmath,
Generally organisation finalises holidays for the forthcoming year well in advance and display in the notice board. Changing of holiday is very rare. If valid reason is there, it can be accepted. But if it done regularly without any valid reason, then it is not correct.
