Dear Seniors,
I am working for Pharma company as HR Manager which is quite established and are mainly into exports.
Working here since Jan. To be very honest I am not happy working over here. I am not sure how comfortable it is to give the details on the public forum. I can only say its a male dominant company. Girls are never appreciated for what they do.
I have recently given an interview with a manufacturing unit for the same position. The company is only two years old and setting up their HR department. I got selected over there with quite a raise.
Now i am confused should i join the new company or stick to this company and wait for better prospects? I also feel that leaving this company so soon can spoil my resume too.
Please help. Need your Reply.

Hi Kulvir,
If i were in your position, i would look for two things-
1. Can i change my situation in the present company - If yes, then i would give it one more try
2. Is the new company a good one in terms of clients and revenues and has a sustainable business - If the answer is yes for the 2 point and no for the 1st point, then i would incline towards the new company
3. Is the company affected by the recent downturn, if yes, can it survive through the downturn, if the answer is yes for this point, yes for the 2nd point and no for the 3rd point, then i would have almost decided on the new offer
4. the final point is does the new company have an equal opportunity employment terms, It is normally written, but you would have to do some research to determine if it is followed. If the answer is yes for the 4th point as well, then i would take the offer other wise no.
This is my thought process, but it may differ from person to person and you will be the final decision making authority.

I Have Sympathy With Orggaization Who Offer You Position In Their Organization.
Because If Hr Manager Like You Cannot Distinguish What Is Good For You So What Kind Of Hr Manager Are You?
Your Current Employer Ignored You Because Of This Problem In Your Personality Which Is Confused......to Become Manager One Needs To Have At Least Minim Experience To Develop Ability To Take Dicisions Which Is Missing And You Are Confussed.........

Dear Kulvir....
As you are saying, that you are not happy with your job in the present company - kindly leave it. It's your Talent that will help you to improve you and your career in your new company as well as in the future companies... ok. I am saying this as because, "Job Satisfaction" is very important factor to consider.
All the very best dear.

i gone through your message and it is very sad to know that you have some apprehensions regarding your present job, you may pls note here that in the present 21st century there is nothing called male dominated society here both male and female are equal and are paid equal pay for equal work there is a possibility getting work pressure in the current economic scenario like laying of jobs etc... where in the agreed employees may be rude in the approach.

please bare in mind that in any private sector you worked a senior management has always got apperhand and you may also notice here that top officials like the CEO, GMs and VPs keep playing second fiddle to the management and this is the orders of the day.

I would suggest not to change the job in the given situation of ecnomic crisis which will lead you to no where.

thanks and regards
raghunath:)
