Hi Sunitha,
Please find enclosed a ppt on how a training programme is developed. first of all you need to be specific on what objectives you want to achieve by a training.
Participatio of Management is of immense importance as finally any training programme is done to improve the employee skills, behaviour etc. to attain the larger interest of the organisation's goals.
Trainees also have to be interested in training and they should be motivated to attend the training with some specific objectives in mind. They should take active participation in the programme.
Hope the presentation will help you understand these points.
Regards,
Kiran

Dear Sunitha
Training is a huge concept if taken as a learning tool.
There are various training programs that are carried out in organisation
1) Behavioural
2) Functional
3) Outbound
4) Seminar
5) Workshops
For all of these there are variety of things that can be done it depends on the following factors
1) Budget for the training - Higher the budget larger the arrangements
2) Trainer / Institute - If you hire an external trainer the trainer themselves will give you the checklist
3) Experience Level / the qualification / industry you are in the things for training will vary
