Hello
This is Tejesh, working as a HR in a Pharmaceutical Org.
I request all the members to suggest me.
What percentage of Salary Hike can we give to Employee after confirmation(after his Probationary Period).
Suppose an Employee salary is 5000 and after probationary period, the employee will be conformed and what % can we give him for salary Hike.
and if particular employee is not upto mark and his probationary period has to be extended, can we give him Salary Hike, Or should he be continue with the same salary.
If particular employee's probationary period has to be extended, What period can be extended.

Hi Tejesh
Salary Hike after Probation period may depend upon the company policies. Some of the companies have fixed Basic Based increments slab called EB ( efficiency Bar ) and based on the performance they give 1 - 3 bars almost coming to from 10 - 15 %. and even a promotion is also prefered after probation period if candidte deserve so. Coming to your next question if period is extended then in that case there is no hike in Salary because increase in period means that unsatisfactory performance and even may result to termination during probation period.
