Dear Team, Kindly let us know what action to be taken if an absconded employee first committed to serve notice period but later on backed out . Informing that he/ she cannot come to office. Please advice what action can be taken?

Dear Sedonia, You have to initiate disciplinary action against the absconding employee on the misconduct of unauthorised absence for it is certainly a breach of the contract of employment.
