Dear All, I am working as HR Generalist in factory for 2 years, if i change my career to IT sector will it affect my career growth,
Since manufacturing sector is in a huge trouble for recent days i had a idea of changing my career to IT or Corporate sector.
Will it affect my career growth?
What are the roles and responsibilities vary from factory HR compared with IT HR?

Factory HR has more challenges. Apart from the routine HR jobs, he need to concentrate
more on Industrial Relations, Labour Relations, Insurance, Discplinary procedure Statutory compliance, Time office, Health & Safety, Canteen, First aid & fire fighting etc apart from Wages & Salary administration, etc.
But if you shift your career to IT, you will have to give more focus on Recruitment & selection,
Employee retention, Compensation management, Employee rewards, performance appraisal system etc.
