Hi All,
For working on SAP HR implementation or support one should have the functional knowledge of HR System. It is like any automated HR system but having vast options which can be customized according to the organization needs.
My opinion is It would be better to have 3 Years of functional experience before trying to understand and work on ERP like SAP HR.
Thanks

Dear friends,
now a day most wanted professional guy is SAP-HR. There is two types. one is taking coaching from SIEMENS. I also agree this is a costly from SIEMENS (roughly 3 lakhs). Second one is to learn from local institutes. After completion of course from local institutes you have to work with senior functionals to learn the practical work.
choose ur self.

Hi All,
I'm not an expert, but would like to share thru' my experience. SAP, Oracle , Peoplesoft etc are almost same, with a different feed in screen. For freshers my advise would be to join as trainee where they can get to learn about these ERP's & start working on it, even if they are not paid well. Once u get a hang of one ERP, you can learn & implement any other ERP.
For experienced HR folks, its a big decision, whether u want to go to a esteemed institute spending 3.5 lacs with no job guarantee or to go to any institute spending 40k with no job guarantee. Plus if u will learn SAP, there will be openings for Oracle & vice versa, hence, think before u act.
Thanks,
Kavita

Many companies in India are implementing SAP modules. Specially HR is in great demand. One requires minimum experience to work as SAP consultant. You require domain knowledge for it. You need not always depend on reputed institutes, even medium institutes will be ok, if you can put your efforts in exploring the subject. Its not tough but practice is must.

Hi friends,
I am prajith, and i was designated as HR Executive specially dealing with SAP Recruitments.
Actually SAP stands for System Application Products (in Data Processing).
The origin is from Germany and now its hot in the market.
Its of Technical as well as Functional.
ABAP , BASIS are all technical modules
where as
FICO (Finance & Control),
S&D (Sales & Distribution),
MM (Materials Management),
PP (Production Planning)
HR ( Human Resource),
comes under Functional Modules.
You need to learn SAP based on your qualificatoin and experience.
Most often when u learn SAP you will be recruited as a consultant.
You will be responsible for implimenting SAP in a company.
Any kind of companies can impliment SAP. But the modules mentioned above are of great demand.
You can go for SAP Certification in any of the authorised centres in India.but will cost more. You can study from a local institutes where they charge from 20,000 onwards depending upon the module.
Respond to me if you want more details about SAP.
But you need to know more before you jump into it.
I think this will be useful to you or mail me to details.
Regards
