Why to give the Salary Slip. Ask for a package stating that I feel my worth in the market is around this & negotiate with the new employer. If they feel you are worth you are stating / asking they will accept you or say bye bye. You will also know your worth.
I hope this will be better than cheating..

Hi Rajan,
This is really good courage to ask such a question in the open forum and i appriciate your guts on this . Many of the small companies never Verifies your payslip as verification using third party cost is very high say about 30000/Employee.
If you trying in any financial domain then just drop the idea about the fake payslip, secondly as its shows you are an IT guy never approch a well known IT company as they do the third party verification .
Trust me i know the process of verification as iam in IT for past 8 years and very well know the verification process .
If you want more info then drop me a mail on my id
Best of luck

hi everyone,
I want to answer this by a question , expressing my case, as I was working with a salary that is at least 1/5 of what is normally paid but I approved because I needed the job it was a chance for me to approve myself and it was a challenge job for me but now when I search for another job in other companies, should I tell them my real previous salary? what will they think of me ? or won't they take advantage of me that I accept for less? I guess they will see me in a low profile. and I read that hr think you lie in 15% of your salary.
I think now companies want to hire you with the minimum salary you can accept it.
Or we should do the right without think of the consequences.

Jane has given you very good advice.
Look, submitting any kind of fudged document tantamounts to fraud, cheating and attracts severe penal action.
The "Fake Salary Slip" that you submitted may give you a very short term gain at a VERY HIGH COST...you are jeopardizing your entire future.
DO NOT RESORT TO SUCH UNLAWFUL ADVENTURES.
In the present circumstances, take up the job which you have negotiated using the original Pay Slip and sleep easy.
Any foundation based on falsehood will only give you a very wek superstructure which can crumble anytime...its not worth risking.

this is definitely a wrong step to produce fake pay slip, if they will check it then it will be difficult for you, now all depends on your luck.
Even new company can put up a case of forgery.
If any chance you have not done this till know, don’t try to do it.

Dear Faker,
What else do you fake?
Whether you will be caught or not is not the question that needs to be answered,it is when will you be caught. The way things are now i definitely see that in near future you are going to be strung upside down.

Hi Rajan,
It not if you could get the same salary by nego.
Is your ability worth the salary you are expecting? In the long run when you are the last lap to the top of the organization your are sure to under perform with this thought in your mind, you never escape this.
Remember the story of Parasuraman ( avataras of Vishnu) , you could get whatever in short run in long run it will hurt for sure.
Acheiving is important but the means of acheiving is also very important.

In such cases, I feel that the systems followed by the companies are not good. Many refer the previous salary and set him a new scale example 20-30% etc...
The company must have a proper scaling system where they can fit him/her based on his/her competency and not on his previous drawn salary.

Such is our world that the salary we get is based upon our previous salary and not as per our eligibility. I have seen guys getting much much more then what they deserve compared to what they should get. At the same time I have seen profiles getting rejected just because the current salary is way too low to be eligible for the profile though qualification and experience wise they are prefect for the job. Such is the world we live in. I cannot think that the company would have given you this salary if you would have told them your current salary. Such is the world we have chosen upon us to live in and such is the world we make it for us.

I dont say what you have done is correct but at times we dont have any choice. Anyways, from where I see, what you can do is keep your current job and take the offer letter to your HR and see if you can negotiate with them. They might not give you the same hike but you might get a decent raise. This will give you some peace of mind. Else, you can take some one in HR in confidence and seek their help.

Lastly, you can do is let the sleeping dogs lie and hope that they dont find it out but there is risk involved because as far as I know , IT companies do have a procedure of background check including verification of your educational documents as well as your experience and salary. How they do it depends from company to company. Any third party verification would be detailed where they would call on your HR number and ask for your details or it might be a simple call from your HR to the reference number you have given where they will just ask about your job details.

You can try to find out what sort of verification they do and based on that you can take your call. If possible try getting in touch with some current employee of the company to get the details.

You need to decide whether you will rather clinch a job for a few weeks and get the sack, or remain where you are until you can get a better deal. Faking your pay slip details is not a wise route. If you consider yourself to have acquired enough competencies to justify over 100% payrise then renegotiate. Goodluck
